The Clarendon Hotel - Blackheath

By and large, it was amazing base for sightseeing in Blackheath, had much fun and met exceptionally attentive and caring staff in a member of staff. The breakfast was generous and hearty for a hotel of this rating...  

The hotel offers outstanding cereals, pastries and fruit for breakfast. Overall the room is reasonably sized, high-class and includes plenty space, air conditioning and coffee.

We had a suite and views were amazing. They served brilliant food for breakfast. It had brilliant location close to All Saints.

Breakfast was fantastic but the luggage storage was disorganized and slow.

I had the suite, it was airy. The beds were big, view over garden was amazing. The hotel was in a stunning location, by the garden. Thanks to the accommodating staff everything was excellent, including plenty of appetising...

Large Bedroom with seating and table area for reading not having to sit on the bed to do so. Excellent Breakfast. Good location with easy access to London and O2 arena. Parking (easter break) Better than expected as I had read reviews and...  

Comfortable hotel with off-street parking within easy walking distance to our final destination

Hotel can be over heated. Ok in winter but a real problem in summer.

The hotel was easily accessible from Gatwick... 20Min train ride to London Bridge then another 15 min or less to Blackheath and literally a 5 min walk to hotel. The Clarendon is a fine, comfortable, slightly jaded, family hotel situated in a beautiful position facing the heath. IStaff...  

Room was big and well appointed. Car parking was available in the grounds although on a first come first served basis. This was quite limited when the size of the hotel is taken into account.The location is good, close to London and the rail...  

The experience with breakfast was a bit off, as we received a small pot of tea intended for three, and had to push for an extra one. Wi-fi connection didn't deliver a consistent experience throughout the stay. Some of the facilities seemed to need a better service check. For instance, the lamps in rooms weren't functioning properly. Parking issues arose, especially during wet weather, as accessing the luggage from the car while finding a space posed a challenge. While the location is appealing, the overall management of room amenities felt a little lacking.

Really convenient for the o2 concert venue and in nice location in Black Heath

Not very accessible - steep stairs and outdated lift

We liked the location, ie overlooking the vast greens. The restaurant food was very reasonable and very good. The staff were very helpful, and overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitetly use the Clarendon again We...  

The Clarendon Hotel boasts a lovely garden area, perfect for a peaceful afternoon. The staff were particularly attentive. I appreciated the clean common areas as well.

Slightly dated decor could use refreshing.

I thought the restaurant was good value for money - they squeezed us in just at the time they were meant to close the restaurant which we were very grateful for.

The shower had no power - was more like a dribble.
